Students of Caleb British International School, Abijo GRA-Lekki, Lagos recorded a feat in the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) recently released by the examination body scoring 100 percent in the subjects.
The result, according to the Head of School, Mr Graham Meredith is a reward for hardwork and commitment to duty.While the students recorded 100 percent in Further Mathematics, French, Financial Accounting and Yoruba, it was all distinctions in others including English Language, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Agricultural Science, Geography, Physics, Catering Craft and Biology.
Other subjects include Tourism, Food & Nutrition, Government, Civic Education, Economics, Fine Arts and Christian Religious Knowledge.Meredith said, “As a private school of international repute, academic performance is always getting better. This current year is an improvement on the two previous two years.”
And to encourage the staff and students, the proprietor, Dr Ola Adebogun has adequately rewarded staff with various prizes, as part of efforts to further promote excellence and hardwork.
According to him, “Caleb British International School, Lekki is renowned as an institution raising godly leaders imbibed with the spirit of excellence and high moral values who can competently compete globally and impact their generations.Adebogun said all the students made distinctions in most of the subjects, which translated to a 100 percent pass in the examination.Gifts presented to the students include cash prizes, plasma television and giant fans among others.
