Dangote stated this while speaking with State House Correspondents after a meeting of the Industrial Policy and Competiveness Advisory Council (Industrial Council) presided over by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Meanwhile, Chairman of BUA Group, Abdulsamad Rabiu has disclosed that the recently commissioned cement plant is set to export of 700,000 metric tones annually.
The Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, recently commissioned the 1.5 million metric tons per annum plant.
Dangote called for action to halt the menace of smuggling, which, he said could weaken Nigeria’s efforts at building a firm-manufacturing base for the country.
“The drastic action that should be taken is any action that will stop the Republic of Benin encouraging people to come and dump goods into Nigeria.”
