A non-governmental organisation, Grassroots Accountability Advocacy Foundation (GAAF), yesterday, began a Public Transparency and Accountability Project (PTAP) to support anti-graft agencies in the fight against corruption.

President of the foundation, Genevieve Anthony said the project, which is expected to last for five years (2018-2023), is geared towards the realisation of government’s Economic Recovery and Growth Plan (ERGP), by fostering transparency in public processes and developing effective anti-corruption mechanisms.

Also speaking, representatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), and the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), Samin Amadun and Olusegun Adogun, respectively, urged Nigerians to support these agencies in their fight against corruption, by providing useful information.
